House Detective performs new construction residential property inspections in Milwaukee and southeast Wisconsin. This includes rough work inspections, progress inspections, and final approval inspections. This typically involves working with the building contractor, municipal inspector, property owner, and lender.
Rough work inspections are typically done when all rough structure, framing, plumbing, electrical, insulation, and HVAC work is complete (prior to installing wall and ceiling coverings). Progress inspections, called draws, are performed to fund the contractor work as the building project progresses. Final approval inspections are done when all contractor work is completed, and building occupancy is approved. We also create and document change orders for unforeseen issues, or required changes to the project scope.
Our inspection services will ensure that your new construction residential property project is completed as it should be, on time and on budget.
